POST AND POST/MAILBOX REPLACEMENTS
These are our guidelines for normal mailbox post removals and replacement.
If you have previously installed a brick or excessive structure or landscape enhancements for your mailbox we will discuss options with you before we perform the work.
- We Contact JULIE (Utility Companies) prior to digging as required by law. JULIE can take 2 business days to mark your property.
- We cut down or remove existing post from ground
- Dig hole to USPS and DOT guidelines (2′ deep)
- Reinstall new post, setting it in cement or gravel if requested
- Install a US Postmaster Approved mailbox and post
- Haul away old post and mailbox for proper disposal additional $20
